We want to be your everyday soap!

This was our mission from the outset.  With an appreciation for handmade soap, but unable to find one that checked off all of our boxes, we wondered if we could create our ideal bar.  

We believe we've done just that.

We are Staci & John, a husband and wife team who create all of the formulas, mix all of the ingredients, turn all of the wood turnings, and package it all.  In other words, our products are 100% handmade by our hands, in small batches on our homestead in Upstate New York.

 It all began with a dream.....

A dream of living in an old farmhouse, growing & raising much of what we eat, and making things from scratch. Preserving our homegrown harvest, chasing after a flock of chickens with attitudes, and crafting soap & skincare was what we longed for. Homemade bread, warm winter fires, hanging laundry on the line, and living at a bit slower pace.  All in the dream.

By 2013, what started as a personal venture had grown into a thriving small business, as family and friends responded enthusiastically to the natural soap & skincare products we were making. Motivated by the consistently positive feedback, we began selling our products online as well as at local craft shows and farmers markets. The passionate customer response confirmed that there was a market for our natural yet effective products.

IN 2014 WE TOOK THE LEAP TO GO AFTER OUR BIG DREAM ON A NEW PATH – MAKING A LIVING DOING WHAT WE LOVE THE MOST.

Our small homestead is the headquarters for the entire Cobble Hill Farm Soap & Mercantile operation. We are on mission to create natural products that work incredibly for you. We want to be your everyday soap company and we want our products to be your must-have favorites. We are incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to live the life we’ve dreamed of.  We hope you join us in our adventure.
