Horseback Riding Lessons

Private, Semi-Private and Group Lessons available. Depending on the rider's level, lessons will be either in the ring or on the trail. Groups will be arranged by skill level and where possible by age group.

Introductory Lessons Packages -- $65 for two, 1/2 hour private lessons

Designed for new and beginner riders. During the first lesson, the rider is taught safety procedures and how to properly groom and tack up a horse. By the second lesson, the student grooms, tacks up and mounts the horse learning control and basic positions. Depending on the age and ability of the rider, riders will get some riding instruction at each introductory session.

Single Riding Lessons - 30 minute private or one hour group lessons

Riders will progress through a series of riding skills and will be grouped with students of the same ability and whenever possible, similar age groups. Riders are encouraged to join a weekly riding group once their skills allow them to safely participate. Riders may choose to learn English or Western styles of riding. As riders advance, in addition to flat work, they may also work on jumping. Lessons are taught most days and are held between 10 am and dark. Lessons should be scheduled in advance.

Sunday Jumping Classes with Karrie

Beginner jumpers should sign up for a half hour of private instruction. Intermediate to advanced riders may sign up for an hour semi-private slot. Each slot is $40 per class OR $150 for 4 classes. Classes will begin October 25th and be held each Sunday (25th, November 1, 8 and 15th) in the indoor arena.
