Youth Riding Experiences

On occasion the barn will offer longer programs that are limited to 8 children per session. These programs will last three hours and riders will get extended time to learn about their horse, running a horse barn and taking proper care of horses. Programs are tailored to beginner/intermediate OR advanced riders. Each day riders will get at least one hour of riding.

Adult Riding Experiences

On select Thursdays this summer the barn will be offering small groups of adults the opportunity to have a half hour riding lesson in the arena and then a 45 minute supervised ride outdoors - either in the pasture, around the track or a brief trail (dependent on rider ability). Afterwards, riders will relax with light adult refreshments and enjoy the beauty and solitude of the farm at dusk. Supervised child care in the barn can be arranged by request. $40 per session.

Required Riding Attire: Proper helmets and footwear MUST be worn by all riders:

• Riding boots with a heel are mandatory at all times in the barn and while riding.
• An approved safety helmet must be worn at all times while handling or riding horses.
• Long pants (jeans or breeches) and long-sleeved shirts are recommended.
